Paul Pogba responds to Zlatan Ibrahimovic's Bottle Cap Challenge in style
Paul Pogba has responded to Zlatan Ibrahimovic's 'Bottle Cap Challenge' - and put his own unique spin on social media's latest viral trend. The challenge has emerged and sweept across the globe in similar fashion to the infamous ‘Ice Bucket Challenge’ from a few years back. It originated on June 25, courtesy of Taekwondo fighter and instructor Farabi Davletchin, before being picked up by MMA star Max Holloway. The participation of global stars such as Ryan Reynolds, Jason Statham and Conor McGregor helped it gain notoriety and on Friday morning ex-United striker Ibrahimovic completed the task himself - with his usual panache. The LA Galaxy star would challenge Pogba, with whom he spent 18 months at Old Trafford. And on the day his agent, Mino Raiola, went public with his declaration that ‘everyone knows” the World Cup winner is desperate to leave United, Pogba would respond to Ibrahimovic on Instagram . And typically, he had to one up his old pal - by kicking the lids off two bottles, rather than just one. "@iamzlatanibrahimovic thanks for the #bottlecapchallenge invite!!" Pogba wrote on Instagram alongside a video of him kicking the lids off. "I've just put my pogtouch? If you don't mind 2bottles challenge now?” If that was a success for Pogba, then the question now is whether he can successfully extricate himself from United. In an interview with The Times on Friday, Raiola stated his client's desire to move on this summer and insisted everyone at Old Trafford was aware of his desire. "Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that. Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are," said the 51-year-old. "Everyone within the club, from the manager to the owner, knows Paul's wishes.” Pogba has been in New York this week, enjoying his summer break, but United have expected him to return to join the club on their pre-season tour. The Red Devils head to Australia on Sunday, ahead of their first pre-season friendly against Perth Glory on July 13
